The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo is a military unit of mechanized troops of the Ukrainian Land Forces. It is part of the operational command West. The brigade is named after King Danylo, the ruler of the Kingdom of Rus, a prominent statesman and commander of the Middle Ages.
Since the beginning of the Russian aggression in 2014, the brigade's units have been involved in many areas of the war in the eastern Ukraine. The brigade's soldiers are also involved in combat operations during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
