Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his official Telegram channel.

“Report from Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko. Many issues on the agenda, including cooperation with Norway in preparation for the heating season and continued grant support for purchasing natural gas. We value Norway’s support,” Zelenskyy noted.

On August 25, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre arrived in Kyiv and confirmed that Norway would continue to support Ukraine. He also said he would propose to parliament allocating \$8.5 billion in aid to Ukraine in 2026.

“The second point is the expansion of our ‘eRecovery’ program. There will be more opportunities to compensate for property losses in temporarily occupied territories,” the Ukrainian president added, stressing that the prime minister would present all details.

“Today, at a government meeting, the rules for crossing the state border for men aged 18 to 22 will be updated. All details have been agreed with the military command, and the relevant opportunities should take effect shortly,” Zelenskyy said.

  • The draft law on allowing men who have not reached mobilization age to travel abroad is a signal to society that we are entering a certain path that may be related to a ceasefire.
