Estonia to deliver 10,000 artillery shells to Ukraine
In the near future, Estonia will provide Ukraine with 10,000 artillery shells, as well as military rations for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Estonia's Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur stated this before the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format in Brussels, as reported by Suspilne.
"Either this week or next, we will deliver 10,000 155mm shells. We will also deliver 750,000 food packages for the soldiers. And we will continue our non-loss-making activities in the sense that we are purchasing, with the help of our friends from various European countries, ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," said Estonia's Minister of Defense.
Pevkur also mentioned that he will meet with Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, to discuss the main needs of the Ukrainian army.
"We all understand that it is difficult on the front lines. We actually need to increase military assistance to Ukraine. And we are doing this. We will discuss with our partners what more we can do because Ukraine needs a better position for peace talks," he added.
