Ukraine strikes two Russian Be-12 Chaika aircraft in Crimea for first time

Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate reported the information.
“On September 21, 2025, in temporarily occupied Crimea, specialists from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Intelligence unit Ghosts struck two Russian Be-12 Chaika anti-submarine amphibious aircraft,” the report said.
The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that the Be-12 Chaika aircraft are equipped with expensive systems for detecting and combating submarines.
In addition, during the operation, the Ghosts struck a Russian Mi-8 helicopter.
- On September 21, Ukraine’s military intelligence said its forces struck Russian assets in occupied Crimea with drones, hitting three Mi-8 helicopters and a Nebo-U radar station.
