Ukraine strikes Borisoglebsk airfield, key base for Russian fighter jets

On Saturday, July 5, units of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces units, carried out strikes on the Borisoglebsk military airfield in Russia’s Voronezh region

Ukraine’s General Staff reported the information.

According to the General Staff, this is a base for Russian Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM aircraft.

"A guided bomb depot, a combat training aircraft, and possibly other aircraft were hit. The results of the strike are being clarified," the General Staff added.

  • On July 4, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces units, struck a Russian facility in the Moscow region that manufactures warheads for Shahed 'kamikaze' drones.
