Ukraine returns 2 children from occupied Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia regions
On July 17, two boys were returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions

The Ukrainian Ministry of Reintegration reported the information.
The Ministry of Reintegration, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, facilitated the return of 6-year-old Maksym from the Zaporizhzhia region and 12-year-old Mykyta from the Luhansk region to Ukraine-controlled territory. At the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, both boys were staying with their grandparents. Due to the occupation, immediate evacuation was not possible.
However, their return was made possible through the Way Home project, implemented by the Ukrainian Child Rights Network.
- On July 1, Ukraine has managed to return nine children from the temporarily occupied communities of Kherson region to the government-controlled territory. The youngest child is only 8 months old.
