Ukraine reports 73 frontline clashes, repels 19 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported the information.

Today, the communities of Baranivka, Chuikivka, Porozok, Prokhody, Dmytrivka, Novodmytrivka, and Ponomarenky in the Sumy region were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian units repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and towards Vysoka Yaruha and Kudiivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainians are repelling two assaults towards Pishchane and in the area of ​​Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out eight attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Ridkodub, Kolodyazi, and in the directions of Novoplatonivka, Novyi Myr, and Zelena Dolyna during the day. Two of them are still ongoing.

Russian troops are looking for weak spots in Ukrainian defense near Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhnokamianske in the Siversk direction. Ukrainian units successfully repelled two of the three enemy attacks; one battle is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians tried four times to advance on the Ukrainian positions in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Kurdiumivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one assault by the aggressor. The enemy tried to advance in the Toretsk area.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces made 27 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Malinivka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Andriivka, and in the directions of Zorya and Stara Mykolaivka.

Defense Forces are holding back the pressure and repelled 19 enemy attacks; eight combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russian army tried 11 times to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Bahatyr, Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, and Vilne Pole. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing. Novopillia, Novodarivka, and Temirivka were subjected to air strikes.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russia launched air strikes with unguided air missiles on Vysoke; no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded in the direction.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky and Stepove. Novoyakovlivka and Mali Shcherbaky were subjected to air strikes.

In the Pridniprovskyi direction, Russia did not conduct offensive actions, but launched an airstrike on Kozatske.

In the Kursk direction, eight combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, four of which are ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched four air strikes, dropping seven guided bombs, and carried out 123 artillery shellings.
