Ukraine reports 117 frontline clashes, 41 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk direction

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported the information.

Border settlements suffered from shelling from Russian territory, in particular: Starykove, Maryine, Myropilske, Novodmytrivka, and Petrushivka in the Sumy region; the areas of Nova Sloboda, Brusky, and Boyaro-Lezhachi in the Sumy region were hit by guided aerial bombs.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks, and another clash is currently ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian army carried out three assault actions near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Nova Kruhlakivka. Fighting is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 17 times near the settlements of Nadiya, Novoyehorivka, Ridkodub, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Kolodyazi, Zelena Dolyna, and Torske. Two clashes are still ongoing.

Ukrainian soldiers stopped two Russian assault actions in the Siversk direction in the areas of Bilohorivka and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attempts by the Russian troops to advance in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Kurdiumivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of Krymske and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russian forces have made 41 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Hrodivka, Myroliubivka, Dachenske, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Preobrazhenka, and Andriivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the enemy's pressure and have repelled 32 attacks; nine clashes are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russia attacked 19 times near Rozlyv, Novosilka, Novopil, Pryvilne, and Burlatske. Three clashes are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy assaults in the areas of Stepove and Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russia made two unsuccessful attempts to advance.

In the Huliaipole direction, the aggressor did not conduct active offensive actions.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attacks. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out seven airstrikes, dropped a total of ten guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian positions and settlements, and conducted 149 artillery shellings.

In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
