
Ukraine open to any format of talks with Russia — Zelenskyy
On April 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is ready for negotiations with Russia in any format and emphasized the need for a complete ceasefire for a period of at least 30 days

On Wednesday, April 30, during a meeting with Luxembourg’s foreign and defense ministers, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the need for a full and unconditional ceasefire lasting at least 30 days.
“We must stop the strikes, stop the killings, and then seek solutions through negotiations. We are ready for any format of dialogue. Russia must stop its attacks and the war,” the president stressed.
Zelenskyy also noted that the meeting addressed support for Ukraine and cooperation within Europe.
The president also stated that the Ukrainian side is currently preparing for negotiations that will take place in the near future.
“Today there was quite a lot of technical work with our partners - primarily diplomatic efforts. We are preparing meetings and talks that will happen soon. Security is the top priority,” he said.
