Ukraine has secret network of factories producing weapons – El Mundo
Following the onset of Russia's full-scale aggression in Ukraine, a network of hidden weapons production plants began operating across the country
The Spanish outlet El Mundo reported the information, citing a source in the Ukrainian arms industry.
According to the outlet, Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshyn, is responsible for the establishment of the production network.
According to the source, some plants are hidden by “huge decorations” and some are located underground. The source emphasizes that Kyiv is particularly concerned about the secret location of the plants, as “traitors” have already been identified among the employees.
It noted that the production network produces ammunition, all types of drones, Neptune missiles, Stuhna anti-tank missiles, and Kozak armored personnel carriers. The source also emphasized that weapons production has tripled since its launch in 2023.
