Ukraine extends transport visa-free agreement with Norway
Ukraine has extended the liberalization of freight transport — the so-called “transport visa-free regime” — with Norway until the end of 2025
Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine’s Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, announced this on Telegram.
Under the agreement, cargo transportation between the two countries, including transit, does not require special permits as long as the vehicles meet Euro-5 emissions standards or higher.
“This is the second extension of the agreement reached between our ministries — another concrete step to give Ukrainian businesses more opportunities to operate, even during wartime,” Kuleba noted.
He added that the ministry plans to expand the reach of the transport visa-free regime and create more favorable conditions for Ukrainian carriers.
Currently, Ukraine has transport liberalization agreements with 35 countries, including all EU member states.
