Defense Express reported the information on Sunday, July 28, citing satellite imagery released by Ukrainian OSINT specialists from the CyberBoroshno community.
"The strike destroyed one Su-30SM, and another aircraft may have been damaged by wreckage," Defense Express reported.
As of July 23, researchers noted that the Saky airfield hosted nine Su-24 aircraft, five Su-30SM multipurpose aircraft, three Su-30SM2s (one of which was not operational), and one additional Su-30.
- The Atesh guerrilla movement claims that its agents and local Crimean residents assisted the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the attack on July 26. This attack targeted the Saky airfield, where Russia's 43rd Separate Naval Assault Aviation Regiment, equipped with Su-24M and Su-30SM aircraft, has been based since 2014.
