The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces reported the information.
"All helicopters were destroyed by missile strikes behind Russian lines, where Russia had set up a platform for aircraft takeoff – a concealed position for quick relocation of aircraft or surprise attacks on Ukraine's security and defense forces," the statement said.
The Ka-52 is an attack helicopter used by Russian forces for reconnaissance and ground target attacks. The Mi-8 transport helicopters are used for transporting personnel and cargo, as well as for supporting ground operations.
