Ukraine boosts production of Bohdana self-propelled Howitzers to 36 units per month, says Army Technology
Ukraine has significantly increased the production of domestically produced wheeled self-propelled artillery systems (SPAS) Bohdana. The monthly output of these artillery systems has reached 36 units
This was reported by Army Technology.
The publication noted that previously, the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) had stated a figure of more than 20 Bohdana systems per month. However, citing its own source, Army Technology reported that the actual monthly supply has now reached up to 36 units.
For reference: The Bohdana SPAS is a Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system with a 155 mm caliber gun, which meets NATO standards. It accommodates up to five crew members, has a maximum speed of 80 km/h, and a maximum firing range of up to 60 km. Production began in 2015 at the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant. In 2022, the howitzer saw its first combat action during the battle for Snake Island, and in 2023, it was officially adopted into the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
