UK to convene Ramstein meeting on February 12
The next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defence in the Ramstein format will take place in a week — but this time, it won’t be chaired by the U.S.

The UK’s mission to NATO reported this on X.
"Defence Secretary John Healey will convene the Ukraine Defence Contact Group at NATO HQ in Brussels on 12 February," the post says.
According to the report, officials will meet ahead of a NATO defence ministers’ gathering to discuss Ukraine’s priorities as international partners continue supporting its fight against Russia.
Radio Svoboda was the first to report this, citing sources.
It is noted that the next Ramstein meeting will take place on February 12.
Also, this time, the UK — not the U.S. — will chair the session.
- Earlier, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that members of the Contact Group had agreed to meet in Brussels a week before the Munich Security Conference, scheduled for February 14-16.
