No attempt to outline or define a compromise between Ukraine and Russia has been successful, realistic, or effective

And where peace has no chance, only the forces of war speak — driven by the logic of escalation, expansion, and intensification.
Where a local war is fought toward an ineffective and formal peace, embedded with an obvious prospect of a new conflict, achieving it has no real purpose.
Why subject this war to a risky pause when it can simply be kept going?
Therefore, an ontological moment may very well arrive when the only way out of a macro-deadlock is a global war, likely involving the use of nuclear weapons.
