Trump claims Ukraine war talks "going OK"
U.S. President Donald Trump said that negotiations to end the war in Ukraine may be going OK. However, he emphasized that there comes a time when one must either "put up or shut up"

He made the statement aboard Air Force One on April 12, Reuters reported.
"I think Ukraine-Russia might be going OK, and you’re going to be finding out pretty soon. There’s a point at which you just have to either put up or shut up and we'll see what happens, but I think it’s going fine," Trump said.
- On April 11, U.S. Special Representative Steve Witkoff arrived in Russia. In St. Petersburg, he held a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin that lasted more than 4 hours. At the same time, the White House called it a “step toward a ceasefire” in Ukraine.
- Afterward, Donald Trump said he was disappointed with both Russia and Ukraine in the negotiation process to establish a ceasefire and end the war.
