To end this war, we need change in Russia, not Ukraine
Notice how the Kremlin skillfully makes our domestic political issues the subject of international discussion. Elections, Ukrainian politicians' approval ratings, the "conflict in Ukraine"...
Unfortunately, it works. Many people around the world discuss this in one way or another, using the terminology imposed by Russia.
In this way, Moscow removes itself from the focus of attention and shifts the conversation to the discussion of Ukraine's weaknesses and flaws.
It is very frustrating when anyone from Ukraine helps fuel this Russia-generated discourse about the war's dependence on our internal issues. At its core, this is manipulation because the war didn't start due to our internal problems, but because of Russia's desire to destroy us.
Therefore, it is absolutely unacceptable to discuss any issues of our internal political life in the context of discussions about ending the war. This is, after all, an interstate war, not an internal conflict.
Feel the difference before engaging in the international discussion initiated by Moscow about the "conflict in Ukraine," which supposedly began due to internal Ukrainian problems. And that, to end the war, something should supposedly be done within Ukraine.
To end this war, it is not Ukraine that needs to change, but Russia.
