No threat of offensive from Belarusian territory now, Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade says
Deputy Commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade Maksym Zhorin believes that there is no threat of a Russian offensive from the territory of Belarus
Maksim Zhorin reported this on his Telegram channel.
"As of now, there is no threat of an offensive from the territory of Belarus. All the "insights" that Yanukovych (does anyone still remember him!) allegedly flew to meet with Lukashenko and Putin to open "new fronts" should be taken as hostile information operations. It is beneficial for the enemies to stir up hysteria in Ukrainian society, especially since it is already present," Zhorin said in a statement.
According to the deputy commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, this does not mean that an attack from Belarus is impossible.
"As I have written many times before, Belarus has actually turned into a region of the Russian Federation, so sooner or later they will be forced to open a second front. The only thing is that it will be mostly Russian troops anyway, because I don't believe in the Belarusian army at all. Meanwhile, I would advise everyone not to worry and to rely on facts. And some MPs, who should have been imprisoned for collaboration a long time ago, would be better off keeping quiet," added Zhorin.
