Now we need to stabilize the situation and prevent the Russians from getting through where they are trying to attack. We believe that we can do this, but unfortunately, we have a feeling that the front line will move westward and shift a little more. Because the fortifications are not yet ready, and the Russian army is reinforcing its reserves," noted Hetman.
According to the reserve major of the National Guard, the Russians plan to mobilize 300,000-500,000 people by the summer.
"But the Russians will not be able to conduct such powerful battles as they are today for a long time. If the fighting stops on the lines where it is going on now, it will turn into a positional war. Putin probably wants to turn the fighting on the new positions into a continuation of the ATO, and this could last for a long time if we do not resolve this issue militarily with the help of our partners. It is impossible to resolve it diplomatically because the Russians will definitely not want to leave our territories, and we will not agree to give up part of our territories in exchange for the cessation of hostilities," emphasized Hetman.
