Ukraine's temporary territorial concessions could be option to end war - Stoltenberg
Former NATO Secretary General and future chairman of the Munich Security Conference Jens Stoltenberg believes that a temporary ceding of Ukraine's occupied territories to Russia could be an option for a quick end to the war

He said this in an interview with Table Briefings.
The diplomat stressed the importance of Ukraine receiving security guarantees in exchange for temporary territorial concessions. In his opinion, these could be guarantees in the form of NATO membership or other options for arming and supporting Ukraine.
‘If the ceasefire means that Russia will continue to control all the occupied territories, it does not mean that Ukraine will give up its territories forever,’ Stoltenberg said.
- The day before, Stoltenberg said that despite the occupied territories, Ukraine could be accepted into NATO: the issue of applying the collective defense article remains on the agenda.
