Systematic strikes on airfields: military expert Zgurets on Russia's targets
Defense Express CEO Serhiy Zgurets says that Russia, realizing that F-16s will soon be in Ukraine, is trying to create problems with airfields
He sais this on Espreso TV.
"Regarding the Rusian night attack, the Air Force Command has already announced the results. We can record that all the Shaheds were shot down, half of the missiles, mainly ballistic missiles - one Kizhal and three Iskanders. However, not all cruise missiles were shot down. But anyway, these enemy attacks have been expected for a long time. If we analyze the enemy's target areas, I would say that one way or another they are trying to strike at airfields, in particular at Starokonstiantyniv, where our aircraft capable of using Storm Shadow missiles are stationed," noted Serhiy Zgurets.
According to him, Russia's attacks on airfields are very systematic. Recently, it was Vasylkiv, Myrhorod, and Starokostiantyniv.
"We can see that the enemy is in some way preparing for F-16s to appear in Ukraine soon, so it is trying to create problems with the airfields," summarized the director of Defense Express information and consulting company.
