National Security Adviser Chang Ho-jin stated the information, Yonhap News Agency reports.
According to the presidential official, South Korea will reconsider supplying weapons to Ukraine after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed a mutual defense agreement.
"There are various options for providing weapons, and our position on the recent developments between Russia and North Korea depends on how Russia approaches the situation going forward," Chang Ho-jin said.
It is noted that South Korea could potentially provide Ukraine with 155-mm artillery shells and air defense systems.
