South Korea to continue supporting Ukraine despite U.S. position

This was stated by the spokesperson for South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lee Jae-woong, as reported by Yonhap.  

Commenting during a briefing on the U.S. decision to halt military aid to Ukraine, he noted that South Korea is closely monitoring the situation.  

"We will continue our efforts to support the swift restoration of peace in and reconstruction of Ukraine," emphasized the South Korean MFA spokesperson.

• In contrast to the growing Russia-North Korea alliance, Ukraine is strengthening cooperation with South Korea, particularly in defense industry.
