Ukrainian military reports 83 clashes along front line, with 27 attacks repelled in Pokrovsk sector

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its 4:00 p.m. update.

"Russian invaders continue to assault the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In response, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are thwarting the enemy’s insidious plans, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment. A total of 83 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day," the statement reads.

Situation in key directions:

- Kharkiv sector: Russia attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses four times near Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory.

- Kupiansk sector: The Russian troops attempted to advance near Zahryzove but were stopped by Ukrainian defenders.

- Lyman sector: The invading Russian forces launched eight attacks near the settlements of Nove, Hrekivka, and Ridkodub.

- Siverskyi sector: One Russian assault was recorded near Bilohorivka.

- Toretsk sector: Russia has attacked 16 times near Dachne, Krymske, Toretsk, and Leonidivka, with five battles still ongoing.

- Pokrovsk sector: Since the start of the day, the Russian forces have made 31 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian forces from positions near Kalynove, Zelene Pole, Novotoretske, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Vidrodzhennia, Zvirrove, Uspenivka, Nadiyivka, Kotliarivka, and Andriivka. The Ukrainian Defense Forces have repelled 27 attacks, and four engagements are still ongoing.  Russiaʼs losses are being clarified.

- Novopavlivka sector: Eight Russian attacks were recorded near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Rivnopil, and Novodarivka, with four clashes still underway. Russia also struck Novopil with unguided aerial rockets.

- Huliaipole sector: The area near Huliaipole was attacked with unguided rockets.

- Orikhiv sector: The Russian invaders attempted to advance three times near Stepove, Shcherbaky, and Lobkove; fighting is ongoing.

- Kramatorsk, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovskyi sectors: No active offensive actions by the Russians were reported.

In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled eight Russian attacks throughout the day, with three engagements still ongoing. Russian forces carried out 11 airstrikes, dropping 23 guided bombs (KABs), and launched 279 shelling attacks, including 17 from multiple rocket launchers.

There were no significant changes in the situation on other parts of the front.

• In Russia’s Tatarstan region, a drone attack targeted a drone manufacturing plant in the city of Yelabuga, where more than 6,000 Shahed and Geran drones were produced in 2024.
