Russia's possible offensive on Kharkiv region: No strike formations detected, says Kharkiv District Council deputy

Bohdan Tkachuk, a deputy of the Kharkiv District Council, noted that no Russian strike forces have been spotted in the Belgorod and Kursk regions to attack Kharkiv.

He said this on the Espreso TV channel.

"We are already used to these threats from the so-called president of Russia. We analyze the information provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. No shock fists or formations have been recorded in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. The Russians are fighting and bombing their own territory, trying to knock out or push Russian volunteer battalions that are fighting there to the Russian border," explained Tkachuk.

According to the deputy of the Kharkiv district council, the number of the Russian group in the Kupyansk sector has not changed.

"As for the Kupyansk direction, the number of the Russian group, which numbered about 100,000, has not changed. There was information that some small part was transferred to the direction of the Belgorod region to fight the Russian Volunteer Corps. We do not see anything drastic, any convoys that are supposed to storm the Kharkiv region. Kharkiv is holding on, Kharkiv region is fighting," emphasized Tkachuk.
