It is noted that last night, the Russians attacked with two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk region, two Kh-31P anti-radar missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea, as well as 29 Shahed UAVs.
Russian troops launched the Shaheds from Cape Chauda (Crimea), Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk (Russia).
The air attack was repelled by mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, anti-aircraft missile troops, and airborne electronic warfare units of the Air Force.
As a result of the air battle, 24 Shaheds were shot down in the Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipro, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr regions.
- Russian troops launched attack drones from two directions: explosions were heard in Odesa on the night of August 3, air defense was operating in the Kyiv region, and a hit was recorded in the Vinnytsia region.
