It is noted that the Russian army launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles at the Kharkiv region from the Belgorod region, 2 more Kh-59 guided missiles from the airspace over the Azov Sea, and 4 Shahed attack UAVs from Yeysk.
As a result of an anti-aircraft battle, mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, anti-aircraft missile troops, and airborne electronic warfare units shot down two Kh-59 guided missiles and 4 attack UAVs in the Odesa, Kherson, and Kirovohrad regions.
- On the night of August 8, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. A 12-year-old teenager was injured in the attack.
