Russian propaganda outlet TASS reported the information.

“Trump announced a decorative ultimatum to the Kremlin. The world shuddered, awaiting the consequences. The militant European Union is disappointed. Russia did not notice it,” he emphasized.

This statement became Moscow’s first official reaction to Donald Trump’s recent remarks.

  • A day earlier, Donald Trump stated that he would impose secondary tariffs on Russia, which could reach 100%, if a peace agreement with Ukraine is not reached within 50 days.

  • The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, said that Trump’s threat to Russia of a 50-day deadline to end the war against Ukraine is “a very long period.”
