Up to 90% of Ukrainian POWs in Russia were tortured or sexually abused

Piece of Ukrainian land isn't of primary interest to Russia
Yet again, there's buzz about another “peace plan for Ukraine,” courtesy of yet another foreign leader

Once again, this plan centers on Ukraine making territorial concessions to Russia…
But I can’t help but wonder: are they really this naive, or is this just part of some ongoing game?
"How have they still not grasped that this war isn’t about some slice of Donetsk or even Crimea? This war is about erasing the existence of an independent Ukraine and its people. A chunk of Ukrainian land ranks about one hundred and first on Russia's list of priorities."
If these well-meaning folks around the world finally recognized this — or stopped pretending not to — maybe things would be playing out a little differently.
