
Russians report drone attack on Volgograd: Lukoil refinery could be targeted

According to eyewitnesses, after the explosions in Volgograd, a fire broke out near the Sarepta railway station. However, local media note that the target of the attack could have been the local Lukoil refinery, located a few kilometers from the station.
At the same time, the governor of the region, Andrey Bocharov, said that while repelling a massive UAV attack in two districts of Voronezh region, air defense allegedly shot down more than 15 drones. According to him, there were no casualties or damage on the ground.
In addition, Volgograd and Saratov airports have temporarily suspended arrivals and departures due to the threat of attacks.
Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in total, over the past night, air defense allegedly destroyed 126 Ukrainian drones, namely: 64 UAVs - over the territory of Volgograd region, 38 - over Voronezh region, 14 - over Belgorod region, 7 drones - over the territory of Bryansk region, two - over Rostov region and one more - over the territory of Kursk region.
