Russian troops ready new assaults on Vovchansk and Hlyboke

In the Kharkiv operational zone, Russian troops are trying to breach Ukrainian defenses in northern Kharkiv, gearing up for new assaults in Vovchansk and Hlyboke

The official Telegram channel of the Kharkiv operational-tactical grouping reported the information.

In Hlyboke, Russia has deployed additional assault groups from the 155th Separate Marine Brigade and the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps. They are using drones for remote mining as they prepare for the assault.

Russian forces are also bolstering their positions by sending more personnel from the 41st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division to the area.

In Vovchansk, there is a regrouping of assault units from the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, the 1009th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Army, and the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 44th Army Corps for future attacks.

Additionally, following the withdrawal of the 153rd Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division for recovery, their positions have been taken over by the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 44th Army Corps and the Akhmat detachment.

The situation in the Kharkiv direction

Over the past day, there were 7 combat clashes. Russian troops carried out 10 airstrikes using 16 guided bombs, 4 missile strikes, and 32 kamikaze drone strikes. A total of 396 shelling incidents targeted the Ukrainian Defense Forces' positions.

Since the start of the current day, 5 combat clashes have occurred, with one ongoing.

During the fighting, Russian forces were unsuccessful, and Ukrainian positions remained intact.

Russian losses

Russian losses in the past day amounted to 113 personnel.

In the last 24 hours, Russian forces lost 113 soldiers and 29 pieces of military equipment, including:

  • 2 tanks
  • 5 artillery systems
  • 8 vehicles
  • 3 units of special equipment
  • 11 unmanned aerial vehicles

Additionally, 72 Russian personnel shelters and 1 ammunition storage point were destroyed.

  • The most intense action occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 52 assaults by Russian forces. A total of 172 skirmishes took place along the front during the day.
