He said this on February 25 at the sidelines of the Ukraine. 2024 forum, reported by correspondent Dmytro Didora from Espreso.
"They are not there, they are not there. It all does not correspond to reality," Budanov responded to journalists' questions about Iranian ballistic missiles in Russia.
At the same time, he added that the Russian armed forces use ballistic missiles from North Korea, but this is "not a massive story."
"A few have been used, but if we talk about massive use, that also does not correspond to reality," emphasized the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
- On February 21, the Reuters news agency reported that Iran had provided Russia with about 400 ballistic missiles that can destroy targets at a distance of 300 to 700 km. The Iranian side denied the transfer.
