Despite an active summer offensive, Russia is failing to meet its front-line objectives, forcing it to deploy more reserves and likely preparing to use North Korean soldiers

Commander of the 429th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems Achilles Yuriy Fedorenko said this on Espreso TV.

"The Russian forces are conducting an active summer offensive campaign on the front line. This must be recognized. But what is more important is that the enemy cannot fulfill the tasks set by the Russian occupation forces for their units. As a result, they are reinforcing their groups with additional manpower, which has a relatively low level of training.

But this does not mean that if the enemy is poorly trained, then there is no threat from this soldier on the battlefield. No, there is a threat. One way or another, they are taught how to shoot, and they can perform forward advancement tasks under the cover of their artillery and drones," explained Fedorenko.

According to the commander, in order to stop the Russian troops on the battlefield, it is necessary to estimate how many soldiers the enemy can supply to the front every month for the war against Ukraine. Today it is about 20,000-25,000.

"It would be very good for us to have at least two FPV drones per person - that's 50,000 FPV drones just to destroy manpower. Accordingly, we add artillery, logistics and everything else. On average, the frontline should receive about 350,000 drones per month to effectively perform combat missions and stop the enemy.

When we have enough guns and ammunition, as well as drones, we get results. The defense forces are performing their tasks so effectively that the enemy is literally frantic, but cannot achieve the results set by the Russian occupation forces. Accordingly, they are looking for an additional resource that could be used at this stage. We are talking about soldiers from North Korea, because there is information that North Korean soldiers will again be involved in Russia's war against Ukraine," noted Fedorenko.

  • Over the past day, the invading Russian army lost 1,120 troops and dozens of units of equipment and weaponry in the war against Ukraine.
