Russian troops lose all their equipment trying to advance in Lyman sector - Ukraine's 96th Battalion
Commander with the 60th Brigade’s 96th Battalion says that Russian troops are trying to conduct active operations near Terny and Yampolivka
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The 60th Brigade is currently performing tasks in the Lyman sector. The Russian army has been trying to move forward for a long time, since mid-March, but it hasn't succeeded. Because the Russians received a worthy response, suffering heavy losses. Now the brigade is trying to hold its positions, strengthen them, and continue to destroy the enemy," noted Dmytro.
According to the commander of the 96th Battalion, Russia is trying to conduct active operations near Terny and Yampolivka.
"We have been observing such actions on the part of the Russians for a long time, but so far they have not succeeded. Currently, we are seeing a small accumulation of Russian troops in this area. They tried to make a breakthrough and advance with equipment, but lost all their vehicles. The invaders switched to small group tactics. They are not succeeding in this as we are destroying them," emphasized Colonel Dmytro.
- Over the past day, Ukrainian troops killed at least 1,030 Russian soldiers. Russia also lost 48 artillery systems and 9 tanks.
- Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military and political observer of the Information Resistance group, noted that Russia will always have human resources, but it has a serious problem with equipment.
