Russian troops attack Donetsk region, causing numerous casualties

Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reports.

Over the previous day, Russians fired 30 times at 16 settlements in the Donetsk region.

The invading forces killed three residents of Donetsk region - two in Katerynivka and one in Novohrodivka. Another 8 people were wounded in the region over the day.

At night, the Russian terrorists fired 11 missiles at the region, including 7 at Pokrovsk and 4 at Myrnohrad.

• The Russian troops launched attack drones on the territory of Ukraine on the evening of August 2 from two directions: explosions were heard in Odesa on the night of August 3, air defense was operating in the Kyiv region, and a hit was recorded in Vinnytsia region.
