Russian night attack: Ukraine’s Air Force destroys 23 Shahed drones

The Russian troops launched 31 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from the territory of Balaklava and Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea and from the Kursk region in the Russian Federation.
The main areas of attack were the Odesa and Kharkiv regions.
Units of anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile firing groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and electronic warfare equipment were involved in repelling the air attack.
As a result of combat operations, the Ukrainian army managed to destroy 23 Shahed drones within Odesa and Kharkiv regions.

On the evening of Friday, February 9, Russia attacked Ukraine with Shaheds. The drones were moving toward Odesa, as well as Kharkiv and Mykolaiv. Four people were injured as a result of a hit on the Odesa port infrastructure, and 7 people, including three children, were killed in the Russian attack in Kharkiv.
