Russian military movements toward Zaporizhzhia grow, with 20-30 trucks observed daily
Military movements from Russia to Zaporizhzhia region have increased, with 20-30 trucks carrying ammo and troops observed in last two days
This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for Occupation Studies.
"On Monday and Tuesday, we observed an average of 20 to 30 trucks with ammunition and personnel. The dominant marking is V, though there are also Z and a triangle within a triangle. We also recorded military transports with armored vehicles, including four tanks in the 'grill' configuration yesterday. However, today at least two tractors with damaged tracked vehicles arrived at the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works from the Zaporizhzhia direction for repairs," he wrote.
Andriushchenko emphasized that the only difference from previous weeks is that the Russian equipment now seems to be older, having been brought from other parts of the front, based on its condition, camouflage, and equipment.
"We can confirm that the enemy is continuing to build up forces in the Zaporizhzhia region, with one significant addition. The geography of movements has expanded to the Novopavlivka direction (closer to Novosilka), where there is an increase in enemy offensive actions," explained the head of the center.
However, Andriushchenko stated that all the Russian movements are ultimately being targeted and carried out effectively.
"No, this doesn't mean that a column from Mariupol was immediately hit in Polohy. But it is repeatedly targeted with strikes either in the town of stay or during attempts to advance or move further along the front line... Everything you see, every strike, is coordinated and ensured by our resistance. From tracking movements/accumulation to adjusting the timing of the hits. The strikes were made through the complex work of the military intelligence, Special Operations Forces, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A perfect example of when results are more important than reports," he stressed.
- Earlier, it was reported that the Russian occupation army had begun mass transfers of military equipment and personnel from the Rostov region and the front in the Donetsk region.
