Russian guided bomb attack on Kharkiv wounds 6, including child
The Russian forces attacked the Kyiv district of Kharkiv on July 3, using guided aerial bombs. The attack destroyed two private houses and injured six people, including an 8-year-old boy
The latest data on the number of wounded was provided at 5:09 p.m. by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to him, two women were treated on the spot. Thus, the number of wounded increased from four to six.
Earlier Syniehubov said four people were injured: an 8-year-old boy, a 74-year-old woman, and a 75-year-old man are in the hospital. Another 38-year-old man received treatment at the scene.
Syniehubov had earlier reported that at least three attacks by guided aerial bombs were recorded in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.
"Two private houses were destroyed as a result of the Russian strike on Kharkiv. Units of the State Emergency Service rescued a child," he stated.
As of 16:35, Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated that another child was believed to be trapped under the rubble.
Later, Terekhov clarified that the information about another child under the rubble had not been confirmed.
At 7:02 p.m., the State Emergency Service clarified that an 8-year-old boy rescued from the rubble was injured and hospitalized.
"The rescuers also helped to free an elderly woman who was unable to move on her own and was blocked in her own home. At another address, the detonation of an enemy aerial bomb caused a fire in an open area. Dry grass was burning over an area of 1 hectare," the rescuers wrote.
