Russian forces deploy chemical munitions 9 times in Tavria area in 24 hours
Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Troop Grouping Oleksandr Tarnavskyi shares his insights into Russian chemical weapons use, the operational situation in the area
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"The Russians conducted nine drops of chemical munitions from UAVs at once, which, let me remind you, is a violation of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons," Tarnavskyi wrote.
He also noted that over the past day, the Russian forces engaged in 43 combat clashes, 950 shelling and 90 kamikaze drone strikes. Russian forces carried out 14 air strikes, and according to the commander, their number is consistently decreasing.
The situation in the Avdiivka direction is stabilizing. Ukrainian troops are conducting a defensive operation.
Russia's total losses over the day amounted to 393 people in manpower (killed and wounded), 37 units in weapons and military equipment, excluding UAVs. In particular, these are 7 tanks, 7 armored personnel carriers, 7 artillery systems and mortars, 15 vehicles and 1 unit of special equipment. A total of 338 UAVs of various types were neutralized or downed. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed a dugout and 3 other important Russian targets.
