She said this on Espreso TV.
"We have reliable fortifications, anti-mine defense, and geographic advantages on the right bank of the Dnipro River. We maintain control over the river, making enemy crossing attempts virtually impossible. Our borders are fully defended," Humeniuk stated.
According to her, the Russian troops' continued assaults on the left bank indicate that the Ukrainian stronghold there remains operational, and the measures taken by the adversary have not yielded results.
- Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff noted that in the Kherson direction, the Russian forces are still intent on driving our units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
- On March 9, in the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces, Ukrainian troops are holding positions, carrying out measures to strengthen and expand the foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro.
