In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a drone strike hit the ground on the premises of an educational institution. Additionally, the attack ignited grass and trash, and windows of a multi-story residential building were damaged.

“A Geran-2 type UAV also struck the ground. The windows of three apartment buildings were damaged. As a result of debris from the Russian drone, grass caught fire over an area of 100 square meters,” Syniehubov wrote.

In the Slobidskyi district, a store caught fire over an area of 200 square meters due to the attack, and the building was damaged.

In the Saltivskyi district, a drone strike near a residential high-rise set civilian cars on fire and damaged the building's facade. Additionally, a fire broke out after a drone hit the roof of the technical floor of a nine-story residential building. An unexploded UAV was also found on the roof of a warehouse.

“Fires broke out in residential areas and on the grounds of educational institutions. In some cases, debris fell right next to children’s playgrounds. One of the strikes damaged an elevator shaft in a high-rise, while another destroyed part of a non-residential building and a public transport stop,” Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov clarified.

In the morning, the State Emergency Service reported that the number of injured had risen to 14, including 4 children.

“Rescuers, police, medics, and utility workers are on the scene. Firefighters extinguished fires and helped evacuate residents. Psychological support is being provided to the victims,” the statement reads.
