On September 27, Colonel Alexei Vladimirovich Kolomeitsev of the Russian army was killed in Kolomna, located in the Moscow region, Russia.
Kolomeitsev, 51, was the head of the 924th State Center (military unit 20924) for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles within the Russian Ministry of Defense, which trains specialists in the combat use of drones, particularly Shaheds, as well as personnel for UAV maintenance.
Intelligence reports highlight that he was directly involved in Russia's full-scale invasion and the war crimes committed against Ukraine.
Earlier, RBC Ukraine and Babel reported the information, citing their own sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
According to sources within Ukrainian military intelligence, Kolomeitsev's elimination was the result of a special operation conducted by a local resistance movement against the Kremlin regime, in coordination with Ukraine's Intelligence agency.
