Russian authorities siphon off money from state employees' salaries in occupied territories to fund military
In the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine, Russian-installed authorities have set up a local branch of a foundation that organizes propaganda events and provides support to the Russian military

The National Resistance Center reported the information.
"In the temporarily occupied territories of the south, the occupiers opened several branches of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, which aims to glorify the Kremlin’s Nazi regime and its aggressive policy," the statement said.
The Center noted that in this way Russia is expanding its propaganda network in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
"The Foundation organizes propaganda events and “voluntary” fundraising for the needs of the occupiers. In particular, for the needs of the fund, the enemy collects money from the salaries of state employees," the National Resistance Center said.
- On January 18, the National Resistance Center reported Russia has begun sending propagandists to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine ahead of the upcoming presidential elections.
- On January 21, the National Resistance Center reported that in temporarily occupied parts of Zaporizhzhia region, Russian invaders are coercing state employees to "voluntarily'' donate blood to the occupying forces.
