Russia attacks Ukrayinsk, Donetsk region with Smerch missiles, killing one and injuring four

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office confirms one fatality and four injuries resulting from the assault.
According to initial reports from the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, at 8:30 a.m., Russian forces targeted civilians in Ukrayinsk with the Smerch surface-to-air missile system.
An 82-year-old woman lost her life after being struck near her home, while four men aged 21 to 53 sustained injuries of varying severity, including bruises and shrapnel wounds. They received immediate medical attention.
The attack also caused damage to six apartment buildings.
Prosecutors are taking necessary steps to document war crimes perpetrated by the Russian Federation's armed forces.
Under the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office's supervision, a pre-trial investigation has commenced under criminal proceedings for violating laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
