Russian artillery works relentlessly in Zaporizhzhia direction, says "Legion of Freedom" spokesman Denysov
Kostyantyn Denysov, spokesperson for the "Legion of Freedom" in the Zaporizhzhia region, highlighted the challenging situation near Robotyne, where the enemy's progress is thwarted, leading to heavy reliance on artillery
He discussed it on Espreso TV.
Denysov stated, "Russian artillery is constantly working, destroying everything. In Robotyne, only construction debris and a few walls remain. The enemy persistently pursues infantry assaults, with a manpower disadvantage of 1 to 5. Armored vehicles transport the infantry, deploying them in dilapidated houses to establish firing points. Such landings often result in significant losses for the enemy – with injured and dead soldiers. Despite casualties, they continue reinforcements without retrieving their dead. Observations and intelligence indicate that, as the invaders struggle to advance, commanders intensify artillery deployment even more, even though it is already working mercilessly at its full capacity."
Highlighting the resilience of Ukrainian defenders, Denysov added that Russian forces, unable to make headway, retreat if there's any movement, as Ukrainian defenders prevent their progress with quality, accuracy, cunning, and steadfastness.
- In the evening briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 25, it was reported that defense forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction successfully repelled 6 enemy attacks in the Robotyne region and 1 attack in the Hulyaipole district of the Zaporizhzhia region.
