Russian army launches missile at Sumy region
On August 6, Russian forces fired a missile at Sumy district. Early reports show there were no casualties
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the information.
"Today, on August 6, Russia launched a missile attack on the infrastructure of Sumy district. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties. All necessary services are working at the scene. The consequences of Russia's attack are being clarified," stated the administration at 14:42.
At 15:06, the head of the city military administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko, confirmed the air defense operation.
"Sumy residents! Please pay attention! It is crucial not to ignore air raid alarms during these times. Respond promptly and stay in safe places. The most important thing is to remain calm, avoid panic, trust official sources, and support our military," Drozdenko wrote earlier on the morning of August 6.
