Russian army is running out of ammunition near Chasiv Yar: Ukrainian serviceman
Ukrainian serviceman and political analyst Kyrylo Sazonov says that Russia is destroying and burning Chasiv Yar
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The Russians have been advancing very closely for two or three weeks now. At night, they used phosphorus again. Russians are demolishing and burning Chasiv Yar. They probably want to do to the city what they once did to Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Soledar, and Mariupol. Although some guys say that they feel that Russia is already working at the level of its maximum capabilities. It seems that it is also running out of ammunition," Sazonov emphasized.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, the Russian army is using aviation, artillery, and drones.
"Both we and the enemy have a lot of drones. I have never seen such a density of drones as in the Bakhmut sector. Someone is holding a position, while artillery and drones are working at the same time. The Russians are already moving one by one, because they realize that more than 2-3 people are already a target. We are doing the same, and we are already mastering some new means of transportation. Both the enemy and we are starting to ride motorcycles. This way, you can hide from the FPV drone. The drone loses a man by getting tangled in the trees," Sazonov added.
- Over the past day, 104 combat engagements took place at the front. Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian attacks in 7 directions and killed 1,040 soldiers.
- Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu made statements about the war in Ukraine and allegedly intensified the Russian offensive near Chasiv Yar, Avdiivka, and Donetsk.
