Russia loses air defense system, 13 tanks and 1040 soldiers per day - Ukraine's General Staff

General Staff report: 104 clashes took place in the frontline over the last day

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fought off a Russian attack near Berestove, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 19 times in the areas of Serebryanske forestry, Nevske in Luhansk region; Terny and Torske in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers beat back 25 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnyokamianske, Vyimka, Novyi, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders rebuffed 27 attacks in the areas of Ocheretyne, Soloviove, Novokalynove, Berdychi and Netailove in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Urozhaine in Donetsk region. The Russian forces tried to break through Ukrainian troops' defenses 21 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian military attacked Ukrainian positions once near Staromayorske, Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian troops keep trying to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, they made 4 unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian military positions.

The Russian aggressors launched 13 missile strikes and 56 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 104 clashes took place. In total, the Russian forces launched 13 missile strikes, 56 air strikes, and fired 105 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

4 settlements in Kharkiv region; Serebryanske Forestry, 1settlement in Luhansk region; 16 settlements in the Donetsk region; 1 settlement in Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces hit the area of personnel concentration and destroyed a Russian Kh-59 missile

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 11 areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated. Also, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a Kh-59 guided missile and 3 reconnaissance UAVs.
