Russian army manages to break through in Robotyne
Zaporizhzhiaofficial Serhiy Lyshenko says that fighting is already underway in Robotyne
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The enemy has already managed to break through in Robotyne, and fighting continues in the settlement itself. From the side of Verbove, the demarcation line has also shifted slightly in our direction. The Russian army is gradually pushing back and recapturing what we managed to return during last year's counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," noted Lyshenko.
According to a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, step by step, 100 meters at a time, the Russians have already entered Robotyne.
"First, the Russians drop guided bombs that hit the strongholds and defense points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces that are close to the combat zone. Or those located on the demarcation line. Then there is artillery fire in the same places. And then small groups, sometimes 2-3 people, try to move as far as possible from their positions and start digging in to secure their positions. That is, after advancing 100-200 meters, they fix themselves, hide themselves, and then repeat their actions. And so, step by step, 100 meters at a time, the Russians have already entered Robotyne," Lyshenko added.
